Crisp Coconut Oaties
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. Watkins coconut flavor
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. rolled oats
- Cream butter with sugars.
- When the mixture is light and fluffy, stir in egg, vanilla and coconut flavor; beat well and set aside.
- Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir this mixture into butter-sugar mixture.
- Blend well, then stir in coconut, oats and Rice Krispies.
- Roll into 1 or 1 1/2-inch balls.
- Place on greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown.
