Green Bean Casserole
- 2 packages 10 oz frozen green beans
- 4 slice bacon diced
- 2/3 cup onion chopped small
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup mayo
- 1 dash salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup chedder cheese shredded
- 1/2 cup buttered Ritz cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup french fried onions
- Pre heat oven to 350F
- cook green beans according to package directions then drain
- cook bacon in a large skillet untill crisp
- Remove bacon drain and set aside and save drippings
- saute onion in bacon drippings untill tender remove onion and set aside
- add flour and sugar to bacon drippings cook for 1 minute stirring well
- Add milk, salt and pepper and cook stirring constantly until thickened
- Stir in mayo, green beans, bacon, and onions
- Spoon into a lightly greased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish
- sprinkle with cheese, fried onions, and cracker crumbs
- bake at 350 degreese for 20 minutes
