Ground Turkey Stroganoff

  1. Heat butter in large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook ground turkey just till browned, then add onion and mushrooms.
  3. When onions start looking translucent add minced garlic and cook for about a minute longer.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, add the sour cream, beef stock (I like this better than bouillon!
  5. ), flour, pepper and salt.
  6. Whisk till smooth.
  7. Boil a pot of water for cooking pasta.
  8. Add salt when water is at a rolling boil.
  9. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  10. Add sour cream mixture to the pan of sauce(or for a lighter version, use plain yogurt).
  11. Cook and stir till thickened.
  12. Add 4 cups cooked egg noodles and mix gently until combined.
