Fried Cauliflower

  1. In a shallow medium bowl, beat egg lightly.
  2. Place bread crumbs in a plastic or paper bag.
  3. Dip cauliflower into egg to coat.
  4. Place florets in bag with crumbs.
  5. Seal or close bag and shake well.
  6. In 10 inch non-stick skillet, heat oil.
  7. Add coated cauliflower and saute until browned on all sides.
  8. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
  9. And if desired garnish with parsley sprigs.
