Green Bean Salad
- 1 1/2 lb Fresh green beans
- 1/2 White onion, sliced thin
- 1 Yellow bell pepper, sliced thin
- 1 can Petite diced tomatoes
- 1 can Large butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup Italian salad dressing
- 1 as needed Salt & pepper
- Boil the green beans in generously salted water until tender.
- Approximately 10-15 minutes.
- Drain.
- Mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
- Add green beans.
- Mix well.
- Add more Italian dressing if needed to coat thoroughly.
- Cover and chill for an hour or more.
- Flavors will blend better the longer it sits.
