Microwave Cooked Basil Cheese Carrots
- 1 net weight about 50 grams Carrot
- 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon Olive oil
- 1 dash Dried basil leaf
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 tsp or (to taste) Hard or semi-hard grated cheese
- 1 Salt and coarsely ground black pepper
- Cut carrot into thin strips and mix evenly.
- (If you don't want the skin, then peel before cutting.)
- Put Step 1 into a heat-proof dish covered with kitchen paper and microwave for 1 minute 20-30 seconds.
- (Just cover with the kitchen paper, don't wrap.)
- Once the carrot becomes soft, it is ok.
- Mix with hard or semi-hard grated cheese, seasoning salt, coarsely ground black pepper and it's ready.
- You can also sprinkle grated cheese and basil on top.
- User Karun chan made this dish with apple, so I tried it too.
- It has a nice sweet and sour flavour.
