Microwave Cooked Basil Cheese Carrots

  1. Cut carrot into thin strips and mix evenly.
  2. (If you don't want the skin, then peel before cutting.)
  3. Put Step 1 into a heat-proof dish covered with kitchen paper and microwave for 1 minute 20-30 seconds.
  4. (Just cover with the kitchen paper, don't wrap.)
  5. Once the carrot becomes soft, it is ok.
  6. Mix with hard or semi-hard grated cheese, seasoning salt, coarsely ground black pepper and it's ready.
  7. You can also sprinkle grated cheese and basil on top.
  8. User Karun chan made this dish with apple, so I tried it too.
  9. It has a nice sweet and sour flavour.
