Bacon Ranch Layered Spread

  1. Combine all spread ingredients in medium bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
  3. Spread onto large serving plate to 1 inch of edge.
  4. Top with cheese, bacon and onion.
  5. Cover; refrigerate to blend flavors (1 hour).
  6. Serve with crackers.
  7. VARIATIONS:
  8. Bruscetta-Style Layered Dip: Prepare spread as directed.
  9. Top with 1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes, 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil leaves and 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover; refrigerate to blend flavors (1 hour).
  11. Serve with crackers.
  12. Greek-Style Layered Spread: Prepare spread as directed.
  13. Top with 1 cup chopped fresh spinach leaves, 1/2 cup sliced ripe or kalamata olives and 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese.
  14. Cover; refrigerate to blend flavors (1 hour).
  15. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons toasted pine nuts right before serving.
  16. Serve with crackers.
