Crunchy Apple-Maple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Toss apples with 2 Tbsp.
  3. brown sugar and 1/2 tsp.
  4. of the cinnamon.
  5. Spoon into 9-inch pie plate or quiche dish.
  6. Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, flour and remaining 1/2 tsp.
  7. cinnamon in large bowl.
  8. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 forks until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  9. Stir in cereal.
  10. Sprinkle over apple mixture.
  11. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until apples are tender.
  12. Serve warm.
