Honey-and-Spice Cranberry Sauce

  1. Combine all ingredients in heavy large saucepan.
  2. Bring to boil over medium heat.
  3. Simmer until berries burst and sauce thickens, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.
  4. Remove cinnamon sticks, cloves and bay leaf.
  5. Refrigerate sauce until cold.
  6. (Can be made 3 days ahead.
  7. Cover and keep refrigerated.)
