Backyard Beer Burgers Recipe
- 1 1/2 lb Grnd beef
- 1 sm Onion, finely minced (1/4 c.)
- 1/4 c. Regular or possibly nonalcoholic beer
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 x Cloves garlic, finely minced
- 6 x Rye or possibly whole wheat hamburger buns, split Ketchup, if you like Pickle planks, if you like
- Heat coals or possibly gas grill.
- Mix all ingredients except bun and cheese.
- Shape mix into 6 patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
- Grill patties uncovered about 4 inches from medium heat 10 to 15 min, turning once, till no longer pink in center and juice is clear.
- Add in buns, cut sides down, for last 4 min of grilling or possibly till toasted.
- Top burgers with ketchup and pickle planks; serve on buns.
- Yield: 6 servings
