All American Desert

• 1 large jello berry blue
• 1 large jello red, any flavor
• 4 cups water boiling
• 2 cups water cold
• 8 ounces whipped topping, prepared cool whip, thawed
• 4 cups angel food cake or pound cake, broken into cubes
• 2 cups strawberries sliced
• 1/2 cup blueberries optional

1. Dissolve each flavor of jello completely in 2 cups of boing water in separate bowls.
2. Stir 1 cup of cold water into each bowl.
3. Pour into separate 9x13 inch pans.
4. Refrigerate at least 3 hours until firm.
5. Cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
6. Place blue jello cubes in bottom of clear glass trifle bowl.
7. Top with 13 of the Cool Whip.
8. Add cake cubes, then sliced strawberries.
9. Top with another 13 Cool Whip.
10. Add the red jello cubes and then the remaining Cool Whip.
11. Sprinkle blueberries over top if desired.
12. Refrigerate before serving.
