Grandma's Chocolate Chip Cake
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12 cup granulated sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 14 cups butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 14 cups milk
- 12 cup miniature chocolate chip
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
- 12 cup butter
- 2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Add rest of ingredients and mix on slow speed for 1 minute.
- Mix on hish speed for 3 minutes.
- Pour batter into 13 x 9 9 2 inch pan and bake for 40- 45 minutes in 350 degree oven.
- Cool completely prior to frosting.
- Combine all frosting ingredients and spread over cooled cake.
