Crusty Fish With Yogurt Dill Sauce Recipe
- 1 c. plain yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon each dill weeds
- Dijon mustard
- 1/2 c. minced green pepper
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced green onion
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 lbs. fish fillets (rock fish or possibly ling cod)
- 6 tbsp. butter, butter or possibly salad oil
- 1.
- Stir together first 5 ingredients to make sauce; set aside.
- 2.
- Heat oven to 500 degrees.
- Heat broiler pan.
- 3.
- Beat Large eggs in shallow pan to blend.
- 4.
- On piece of wax paper mix together crumbs and cheese.
- 5.
- Cut fish into serving size pcs; dip in egg, then crumb mix to coat.
- 6.
- Remove pan from oven.
- Put butter, oil or possibly butter in pan, swirl to heat.
- 7.
- Lay pcs of fish in pan; turn to coat with butter.
- 8.
- Bake 10 min, approximately.
- Serve with sauce.
