Brats With Spicy Sauerkraut
- 6 uncooked bratwurst
- 1 (12-ounce) can beer*
- 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons serrano or jalapeno chile pepper, seeded, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 cup drained sauerkraut
- 6 bratwurst buns, toasted, if desired
- Serve bratwurst on buns; top with sauerkraut.
- *Substitute 1 1/2 cups water.
