Sparkling Citrus Triangles

  1. Combine butter and sugar in bowl.
  2. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
  3. Add egg, lemon zest, orange zest, orange juice and lemon extract; continue beating until well mixed.
  4. Add flour and baking powder; beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Mix in decorator candies.
  6. Divide dough in half; shape each half into 8-inch long log.
  7. Flatten sides to form triangle on waxed paper.
  8. (Use waxed paper to help shape triangle).
  9. Wrap each half in plastic food wrap.
  10. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm.
  11. Heat oven to 375F.
  12. Cut triangle log into 1/4-inch slices.
  13. Place 1 inch apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  14. Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  15. Cool completely.
