Mixed Sausage Grinder
- 8 each Italian sausage links (3 oz./85 g each)
- 8 each smoked sausage links (3 oz./85 g each)
- 8 each bratwurst (3 oz./85 g each)
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 each onions, cut into thin wedges King Sooper's 1 lb For $0.99 thru 02/09
- 4 each green peppers, cut into thin strips
- 3 cups Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce
- 24 each French bread rolls, partially split
- Heat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill sausages 5 min.
- on each side or until done (160 degrees F).
- Cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices; set aside.
- Meanwhile, saute vegetables in hot oil on medium heat 5 min.
- Stir in sausage and barbecue sauce; cook 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- For each serving: Fill 1 roll with about 1 cup (250 mL) of the meat mixture just before serving.
