Cheesy Chili Breakfast Casserole

  1. Spread cut sides of English muffins with 1 teaspoon butter.
  2. Place buttered side down in lightly greased 13x9 baking dish.
  3. In a separate skillet, brown sausage, stirring to crumble.
  4. Drain.
  5. Layer over English muffins half of each of the sausage, chilies and cheese.
  6. Whisk sour cream and eggs together and pour over casserole.
  7. Layer remaining sausage, chilies and cheese.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours.
  9. Preheat oven to 350 degrees .
  10. Bake for 35-40 minutes until casserole is hot and eggs are set.
