Salisbury Steak Kinda
- 2 lbs sirloin steaks, cut into serving size
- 2 red peppers, sliced
- 2 red onions, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 34 cup flour
- water
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 14 lb mushroom
- Dredge steak pieces in flour and pound with meat mallet or the edge of a plate.
- Brown in oil.
- Meanwhile cook onions, garlic, and peppers in oil in dutch oven.
- When steak is browned add to dutch oven.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add enough water to just come to the top of steak.
- Simmer uncovered for about 2-3 hours until steak is fork tender.
- Add mushrooms in the last hour.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and your favourite vegetables.
