Mount Vernon Short Ribs With Beer Sauce Recipe

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients; coat ribs with mix.
  2. In skillet, heat butter, butter or possibly oil.
  3. Brown ribs on all sides, add in onions, and cook till transparent (not brown).
  4. Place meat and onion in large casserole or possibly baking pan; pour the combined sugar, vinegar, dry mustard, catsup, beer and bouillon over meat.
  5. Bake in 375 degree oven till meat is tender (about 1 1/2 hrs).
  6. Serve with vegetable and French bread or possibly potatoes.
