Beef Stroganoff Recipe

  1. Trim fat from steak; partially freeze steak.
  2. Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin strips, and set aside.
  3. Coat a nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat till warm.
  4. Add in steak, mushrooms, onion, and garlic; saute/fry till steak and vegetables are tender.
  5. Drain; wipe drippings from pan.
  6. Combine bouillon granules and warm water; set aside.
  7. Heat margarine in skillet over low heat; add in flour, stirring till smooth.
  8. Cook about 1 minute; stir constantly.
  9. Gradually add in bouillon mix; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wire whisk till thickened.
  10. Stir in salt, pepper, and steak mix.
  11. Cook till heated.
  12. Remove from heat.
  13. Combine cornstarch and yogurt (at room temperature); stir into meat mix (don't reheat).
  14. Serve meat mix over noodles; sprinkle proportionately with parsley.
