Warm Cranberry Punch

  1. Make a spice packet.
  2. Pinch open the cardamon pods to release the seeds and place them or a piece of cheesecloth.
  3. Add the cinnamon and cloves.
  4. Tie up the bundle with string.
  5. Heat the punch.
  6. Pour everything but the Creme de Casis into the crock pot.
  7. Submerge the spice packet in the liquid.
  8. Steep the punch on low in the crock pot for 1 to 4 hours - do not boil.
  9. To serve.
  10. Add the Creme de Casis.
  11. Serve with orange slices for garnish.
