Strawberry Salad
- 1 large (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 c. cold water or water and juice to equal
- 1 lb. frozen strawberries, thawed or 2 (10 oz.) pkg.
- No. 2 can crushed pineapple (not drained, Del Monte is best)
- 2 large bananas, sliced
- 1 pt. sour cream, mixed to smooth consistency
- 2 pkg. Jell-O
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 3 (10 oz.) pkg. strawberries
- 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
- 3 large bananas
- Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water; add cold water.
- Add the thawed strawberries and the undrained pineapple, then add the banana slices.
- Pour half of this into a 9 x 13-inch dish; refrigerate until set well enough to spread the sour cream on top. Add the remaining half of the Jell-O mixture carefully, so that it remains on top.
- Continue to refrigerate until well set.
