Honey Barbecued Chicken Recipe
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 1/3 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- Dash of pepper
- 1 (2-3 lb.) broiler-fryer, halved
- To prepare sauce, combine first 7 ingredients.
- Hook chicken wing tips behind shoulder joint into back.
- Place chicken on grill, skin side up, about 5 inches above warm coals.
- Cook slowly for 30-35 min or possibly till tender, turning frequently and basting with sauce each time.
- Watch chicken closely so which it does not burn.
- Yield: 6 servings.
