Pan Cooked Asparagus
- 1 lb of thin asparagus
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 12 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 large minced jarred garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon pepper
- Snap asparagus stems at tough spot.
- Lay in a frying pan add 1 1/2 cups of water boil till they are crisp tender this will be till they are still green but they bend.
- Drain and return to a low simmer add butter olive oil and simmer till butter is melted add garlic and coat asparagus add sugar salt and pepper toss and serve very tasty.
