Glazed Fruit Skewers With Strawberry-Yogurt Dip

  1. Place yogurt in a coffee filter-lined sieve set over a bowl.
  2. Refrigerate 4 hours to drain.
  3. Discard the liquid (whey).
  4. Gently blend thickened yogurt with jam and mint until well combined.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 day.
  6. Thread equal portions of watermelon, pineapple, grapes and apple onto 24 (6-inch) bamboo or metal skewers.
  7. Stir lemon juice with honey and cardamom or cinnamon.
  8. Arrange skewers on a platter; brush all over with the honey mixture.
  9. Serve immediately with the dip.
