- 1/2 Japanese leek
- 1 tsp Grated ginger
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1/2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 50 ml Chicken stock
- Cut the ground pork and Japanese leek into small pieces.
- Grate the ginger.
- Combine in a bowl.
- Add the seasonings and mix.
- Using a spoon, scoop the tofu into a heatproof dish.
- Arrange so that they do not overlap.
- Pour Step 2 over the tofu.
- Rather than piling it up high, spread the ingredients out so that it heats evenly.
- Wrap with plastic wrap and microwave for 7 minutes.
- Use chopsticks to open a space in the middle and check to see if there's any red left to the meat.
- It's ready when the centers have cooked through.
- Transfer to dishes, breaking up the meat portion with the chopsticks.
- If the meat is still red, heat some more while keeping an eye on it.
- If you like it spicy, add some doubanjiang or ra-yu.
