Canned Pacific Saury & Tofu with Eggs
- 1 block Silken tofu
- 1 can Canned Pacific Saury
- 1/4 bundle Chinese chives
- 2 Eggs
- 100 ml Water
- 1/2 tsp Hon-Dashi dashi stock powder
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp Sugar
- Put the ingredients into the frying pan.
- Break apart the tofu and flake the Pacific Saury (with the juices) and add to the pan.
- Turn the heat to high.
- When it begins to bubble, pour in the beaten egg and sprinkle on the cut chives.
- Cover with a lid (while still on high heat), and let it cook until the egg is half-cooked.
- Turn off the heat.
- The total time is maybe just 10 minutes?
- You can make this dish in a jiffy.
- I don't think the ingredients even cost more than 200 yen.
- If you're going to make this as a rice bowl topping, decrease the water to 80 ml and leave everything else the same.
