Meat Loaf Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound grnd meat
- Onion, minced
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- Egg
- Stale hard bread to line bottom of baking dish
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 lg. can peas, liquid removed
- Stale bread is so meat loaf doesn't stick to pan, also absorbs fat.
- Mix hamburger meat with onions, Worcestershire sauce, bread crumbs and Large eggs.
- Mix well.
- Line bottom of baking dish with stale bread.
- Form loaf and set on top of bread.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
- When done take soup and 1/2 can water and mix.
- Then pour over meat loaf and then pour peas and meat loaf.
- Put back in oven for another 15-20 min to heat through.
- Slice and serve.
