Sparkling Pineapple Punch
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Three-inch cinnamon sticks
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 can pineapple juice chilled (46oz)
- 1 Bottle water sparkling, chilled, 1 litre
- 1 Bottle white wine sparkling, chilled, (750 milliliters)
- Heat sugar, water and cinnamon to boiling; reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled.
- Remove cinnamon from syrup.
- Just before serving, mix syrup with remaining ingredients in punch bowl.
