Cheeseburger Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Brown ground beef and drain.
  3. While beef is draining, in the same skillet, add olive oil and saute the onion and garlic.
  4. Return beef to skillet with onions and garlic, mixing well and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Next add ketchup, mustard, pickles and water and mix well, simmering 3-4 minutes.
  6. In a sprayed 9x13 baking dish, layer meat mixture and smooth out.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Unroll crescent rolls over the top, pinching seams together.
  9. The outside edges may not be covered all the way but that is perfectly fine.
  10. Brush with beaten egg and then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
