Beef With Mushrooms,Onion,Ginger Recipe
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 3 c. Onions, cut lengthwise
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 1 lb Lean beef, grnd or possibly cut in fine strips
- 1 can (3-ounce) mushrooms, liquid removed
- 2 Tbsp. Shredded fresh ginger
- 4 Tbsp. Soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 c. Mushroom juice (juice from can plus water)
- 1 x Beef boullion cube Warm cooked rice or possibly noodles
- Heat 2 Tbs oil & saute/fry onions till slightly brown.
- Remove from pan.
- Reheat pan, add in 2 Tbs oil & beef, fry till browned.
- Return onions to pan; add in mushrooms, ginger & soy sauce.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Mix cornstarch & mushroom juice; add in to pan.
- Add in boullion cube.
- Stir & continue to cook a few min to thicken.
- Serve immediately with rice or possibly noodles.
- 4 servings.
