Turtles Cheesecake

  1. Crust: Preheat oven to 300.
  2. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, pecans, butter & sugar in a bowl until well combined; press into bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Bake 12 minutes or until golden & firm;refrigerate until chilled.
  4. Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar & vanilla until smooth.
  5. Beat in eggs & flour.
  6. Gradually beat in evaporated milk and the sour cream.
  7. Stir in chopped turtles; pour over crust.
  8. Bake 25 minutes.
  9. Cover loosely with foil, bake an additional 30-40 minutes or until edges are set but centre still jiggles slightly.
  10. Let cool to room temp on baking rack.
  11. Run a sharp knife around edge of pan; remove pan edges.
  12. *This cheesecake is nice decorated on top with additional turtle snackin' size candies (in a circular pattern nearly to the outer edge of cake, or (three candies placed triangle fashion) in the middle, or both!)
  13. and dripped melted chocolate and/or dripped melted caramels.
