Very Easy Chocolate Yule Log
- 2 cups whipping cream or Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed
- 2 Tbsp. icing sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla or peppermint extract, OR
- 2 Tbsp. rum or brandy
- 1 pkg. (200g) Mr. Christie's Chocolate Wafers
- cocoa, for dusting
- WHIP cream with sugar and extract until stiff peaks form OR add extract to thawed whipped topping.
- Spread whipped cream generously on each chocolate wafer and stack in groups of 6 wafers.
- Place wafer stacks end to end on a serving platter to form a log.
- Frost top and sides with remaining whipped cream to resemble bark on tree.
- Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
- IF desired, cut 2-inch diagonal slice from log and place on the top or side of the log to form a limb.
- Dust with cocoa.
- Serve in diagonal slices.
