Vegetarian Veggie Broth
- 1 medium Onion
- 2 Stalks of celery
- 1 medium potato
- 2 carrots
- 1 small bell pepper (cleaned)
- 4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 **** can add any vegetable your family likes
- chop up veggies into large chuncks.
- You do not need to peel potato..
- put spices and bay leaf in 6 cups of water.
- put all veggies in cheese cloth ... can purchase at Walmart in the canning section.
- I bought mine at Rural King...
- Tie cheese cloth into bundle with cooking twine.
- Bring to a hard boil for about 5 minutes.
- Turn down to med to med low.
- allow to cook for 30 minutes.
- Trying to get the potato done!!

- Take out the cheese cloth bundle with all the veggies in it and discard.
- You now have veggie broth
