Victoria Station Onion Soup Recipe
- 1 pkg. Knorr Swiss onion soup
- 1 pound onions, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp. butter
- Water as directions on soup package
- 1/4 c. dry sherry
- Saute/fry onions in butter.
- Don't brown.
- Add in soup, fold in water and sherry.
- Bring to boil.
- Simmer 20 min.
- Top with toasted bread and grated Jack cheese.
- Put under broiler till cheese melts and is slightly brown.
- This should be done in heat proof bowls.
