Cornbread Pie

  1. Saute beef and onion until lightly browned.
  2. Add soup, 1 teaspoon of salt, water, pepper, corn, chili powder and green pepper.
  3. Simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Place in lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole; set aside.
  5. Combine cornbread, flour, sugar, remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and baking powder.
  6. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  7. Spoon cornbread topping over meat mixture.
  8. Bake in preheated 400u0b0 oven for about 25 minutes.
