Simple Fish Tacos
- 1 whole Large Avocado, Peeled And Pitted
- 1 whole Lime, Juiced
- 1/2 cups Light Sour Cream
- 1/4 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1 cup Fresh Chopped Cilantro
- 1 Tablespoon Water
- 18 teaspoons Cayenne
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/4 teaspoons Seasoning Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 6 whole Tilapia Fillets
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 8 whole Corn Tortillas
- Optional Garnishes: Chopped Cilantro, Shredded Cabbage
- For the avocado sauce: In a blender combine all of the ingredients for the avocado sauce.
- Puree until smooth and then stick it in the refrigerator until ready to use.
- For the fish seasoning: In a small bowl combine the chili powder, paprika, seasoning salt and salt and stir.
- Lay out the tilapia fillets and cut them in half.
- Sprinkle each fillet with the seasoning.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over low/medium heat in a saute pan.
- Cook the filets 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Be careful when flipping or they will flake apart and break.
- When done, remove them from the pan onto a plate.
- Fixing the tacos: Warm the corn tortillas for a few seconds in the microwave so they are soft.
- Top a tortilla with a spoonful of the avocado sauce and place some fish down on top.
- Then place a handful of cabbage and cilantro on top of the fish.
- If you like a lot of sauce add more to the top.
