Basic fluffy white bread

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
  2. Combine milk, remaining water, oil, sugar, and half of the flour in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the yeast and water proof
  4. Knead in remaining flour and knead for 6 to 8 minutes
  5. Let rise 1 hour
  6. Punch down and roll out into 2 12x8 inch rectangle.
  7. Roll firmly into a log from the short end.
  8. Place on pan seam side down.
  9. Key rise another hour
  10. Bake 375 f for 30 to 35 minutes
