Fudgy Brownie Mix In A Jar

• 1 cup red and/or green candy-coated chocolate pieces
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
• 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, melted
• 2 Land O Lakes All-Natural Eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

1. Place 1/4 cup chocolate pieces in small, clear cellophane bag; secure with ribbon.
2. Set aside.
3. Layer all ingredients except butter, vanilla and eggs in order listed (sugar, cocoa, flour, salt and remaining 3/4 cup chocolate pieces) in 1-quart glass jar.
4. Top with chocolate pieces in bag; seal tightly.
5. Include the following directions with jar of brownie mix.

7. Heat oven to 350F.
8. Grease 8-inch square baking pan.
9. Reserve chocolate pieces in bag from jar.
10. Place all remaining jar ingredients in medium bowl.
11. Add 1/2 cup melted butter, 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix just until flour is moistened.
12. Spread batter into prepared pan; sprinkle with reserved chocolate pieces.
13. Bake for 27 to 32 minutes or until edges just begin to pull away from sides of pan.
