Orange Beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth or stock
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp siracha
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp ground mustard
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1 lb stir fry beef (or cut your own from your favorite cut of beef)
- 5 baby red bell peppers (sweet peppers)
- 1 can mandarin orange segments
- Combine the first 11 ingredients in a bowl, whisk together until combined and set aside.
- Chop in large dice the baby red bell peppers; set aside.
- Heat skillet over medium-high to high heat.
- Add olive oil, heat about a minute, add beef and stir fry until done.
- (About 7 minutes.)
- Whisk your sauce mixture once more before adding to the beef.
- Stir until thickened.
- Add baby bell peppers and simmer until mandarin segments are heated through.
- Add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Serve over rice or soba noodles.
