Paneer tikka (cottage cheese)
- 100 grams paneer/cottage cheese (I make mine at home, but you can but it in a supermarket)
- 3 tsp tikka masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 clove minced garlic and ginger
- 4 tsp plain yoghurt (i use homemade)
- Cut the cottage cheese into 1 inch cubes and set aside
- In a bowl, mix everything well and add the cheese.
- Allow to marinate for a few hours because it soaks in all the juicy marinade.
- When you want to cook it, skewer it seperating each with a pepper chopped to approx.
- the same size as the cheese (green red yellow or all) this is amazing for bbq's so it uses low heat and gets super tender
- NB: this is not like regular cheese, it doesnt melt so to know when it is ready, just break it, it should not be too rubbery and should not flake when breaking it
home, masala, salt, ground black pepper, garlic, yoghurt
