Apple Crumble

  1. Pre-heat oven too 190C conventional or 170C fan-forced.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together and then rub in butter until mixture becomes crumbly.
  3. Peel and cut apples into wedges and place in oven proof dish.
  4. Drizzle with golden syrup.
  5. Spread the crumble mixture over the top of the apples.
  6. Sprinkle demerara sugar on top for an extra crunchy topping (optional).
  7. Place dish in the center of oven, bake for 40-45 minutes until apples are cooked.
  8. Serve while hot with vanilla ice cream or cream.
