Easy Jambalaya Recipe

  1. Saute/fry andouille, sausage and ham in a heavy pot.
  2. Remove meat.
  3. Add in white onions to the warm drippings and brown them.
  4. Pour off excess fat.
  5. Add in everything else except rice.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Let simmer for 15 min.
  8. Replace water to previous level.
  9. Add in rice.
  10. Simmer covered for 15 min.
  11. Fold - don't stir.
  12. Turn off fire after 15 min.
  13. Keep covered and let sit for 15 min.
  14. Serve.
