Homemade ice cream (Root Beer Float, Pina Colada & Strawberry Banana flavored
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup heavy cream or whipping cream
- 6 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp root beer extract if making root beer float ice cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if making root beer float ice cream
- 1 cup mini marshmallows if making root beer float ice cream 2 drops purple food coloring
- 4 cup ice cubes
- 1 gallon zip lock bag
- 1 quart zip lock bag
- 4 tbsp salt or ice cream salt
- 1 tsp Banana extract if making the pina colada ice cream
- 1 tsp coconut extract if making pina colada ice cream
- 3 tbsp crushed pineapple
- 2 drops of yellow food coloring if making pina colada ice cream
- 1 tsp strawberry extract if making strawberry banana ice cream
- 1 tsp Banana extract if making strawberry banana ice cream
- 5 fresh strawberries diced small if making strawberry banana ice cream
- 2 drops of red food coloring if making strawberry banana ice cream
- Add the all the ingredients depending on which ice cream you're making in 1 quart zip lock bag except for the ice & salt.
- Stir then seal up tight with as little air in it as possible.
- Then in a 1 gallon zip lock bag add the 4 cups of ice.
- Place the ice cream baggy inside the gallon zip lock bag of ice.
- Pour the salt or ice cream salt on the ice.
- Zip up the gallon bag with little air in it as possible.
- Then the fun part!
- Grab some winter gloves & shake the bag for 10 minutes!
- After shaking un zip the gallon bag to get the quart ice cream bag out.
- Rinse that ice cream bag under cold water to wash the salt off.
- Be careful not to get the salty water in the bag.
- Open it up spoon it out & Enjoy!!
