Apple Cinnamon Pancake
- 120 g Flour
- 1 egg
- 10 g white Sugar
- 5 g Melted butter
- 60 ml milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 apple
- 20 g brown sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 20 ml whipping cream
- Firstly, put the egg in the mixing bowl, gently beat the egg.
- Add sugar to the beaten egg, mix until the all sugar is dissolved.
- Secondly, add milk and melted butter to the egg mixture, mix well until combined.
- Thirdly, sieve the flour into the mixture from 2, gently mix the flour from the centre.
- Mix until the flour is just combined.
- Now, the batter is ready!
- Now, work on the caramelised cinnamon apple.
- Cut apple into bite size pieces.
- Transfer the apple into a saucepan, add sugar.
- Turn on the burner to medium heat, gently cook the apple until brown.
- Add cinnamon powder to the apple, mix well and let it cool.
- Now fry the pancake.
- Turn on the burner and heat the pan on medium heat, coat the pan with butter.
- When the butter is melted, put in one-third of the batter to the pan.
- Then cover the batter with the lid and cook in low heat for 2 mins or until small bubbles formed on the surface of the batter.
- After that, flip the pancake and brown the other side for 1 min or until the pancake is cooked.
- Do the same for the rest of the batter.
- You should get 2-3 pancakes at the end.
- Transfer the pancakes to a plate, top with icing sugar.
- Then top with whipped cream, cinnamon apple and honey to taste.
