Tater Crisp Chicken Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. mashed potato flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 to 3 pound frying chicken, cut up
- Heat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place butter in 13 x 9 inch baking dish, heat in oven.
- In plastic bag, combine potato flakes and salt.
- Rinse chicken in cool water; shake in plastic bag.
- Place chicken skin side down in melted butter.
- Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 30 min; turn chicken.
- Bake 30 min longer.
