Easter Lamb Face Cupcake

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.
  3. Make cake mix as directed on box, using water, oil and eggs.
  4. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  5. Bake about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pans 10 minutes, remove from pans to wire racks.
  7. Cool completely, about 25 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl, tint 1/4 cup of the frosting with red food color to make pink frosting, set aside.
  9. Frost cupcakes with white frosting.
  10. For muzzle, spread 1/2 teaspoon pink frosting in small circle on each cupcake, add red M&M for nose.
  11. For eyes, add brown or black round gumdrops.
  12. For ears, frost the cut-side mini marshmallow with pink frosting, set onto cupcakes.
  13. Place marshmallow halves on face for wool.
