Yummy Minestrone Soup
- 14 ounces chicken broth 1 can
- 14 ounces tomatoes, canned diced, 1 can
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 cup onions chopped
- 1 cup cabbage shredded
- 3/4 cup tomato juice
- 1/2 cup carrots chopped
- 1 teaspoon basil dried
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 15 ounces beans cannelloni beans, 1 can
- 4 1/2 ounces green beans 1/2 of a 9 oz package, italian or french, frozen
- 2 ounces spaghetti barilla plus
- parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
- Combine broth, undrained tomatoes, water, onion, cabbage, tomato juice, carrots, basil and garlic powder.
- Bring to boiling, reduce heat.
- Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in cannelini beans, green beans and pasta.
- Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 more or until vegetables and pasta are tender.
- Sprinkle with shredded parm cheese.
