Chocolate Peanut Butter Squares
- 20 ounces peanut butter chips
- 13 cup butter, cut up
- 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (15 whole crackers finely ground)
- 12 cup unsalted peanuts, finely chopped
- 1 cup unsalted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- line a 9x13 inch pan with foil.
- Spray the foil with nonstick spray.
- combine peanut butter chips and butter in a large glass bowl.
- Microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds.
- Stir.
- Return to microwave; heat on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds.
- Whisk in dondensed milk.
- Gradually stir in crumbs and the 1/2 cup of chopped peanuts; use hands if necessary to mix well.
- Pat the mixture firmly into the pan.
- Refrigerate about 30 minutes.
- Microwave the chocolate chips on high for 1 minute.
- Stir until smooth; microwave in additional 15 second increments, if necessary.
- Spread over top of peanut butter mixture.
- Sprinkle with remaining 1 cups nuts.
- Let stand at room temp until firm, about 1 hour.
