Washington Cheesecake
- 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 3 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- Combine crumbs, sugar and melted margarine.
- Press onto bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 10 minutes.
- Increase oven temperature to 450u0b0.
- Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed until well blended.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Blend in milk and vanilla.
- Pour mixture over crust.
- Bake at 450u0b0 for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 250u0b0; continue baking 25 to 30 minutes. Loosen cake from rim of pan.
- Cool before removing.
- Chill. Before serving, top with pie filling.
